Aidan has received the Naval Research Enterprise Internship!

Congratulations! Aidan will be working this summer in the Naval Research Lab in Washington DC on the following topic: “Engineering MAX Phases for Application to Hypersonics: Demonstrate the use of thermochemical strategies for enhancing the oxidation resistance and thus operation temperature of MAX phases during mechanical testing at ambiant and elevated temperatures (via Joule or laser heating) under controlled environnement.”

A new collaboration with Germany!

Dr. le Graverend has been awarded a fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt fellowship! Thanks to it, he will be able to collaborate with Prof. G. Eggeler from Ruhr Universität Bochum in Germany for the three next summers. E²ML would also be able to receive visiting researchers, post-docs and students through the fondation !
