Congratulations! Aidan will be working this summer in the Naval Research Lab in Washington DC on the following topic: “Engineering MAX Phases for Application to Hypersonics: Demonstrate the use of thermochemical strategies for enhancing the oxidation resistance and thus operation temperature of MAX phases during mechanical testing at ambiant and elevated temperatures (via Joule or laser heating) under controlled environnement.”
