This ten-week intern program is designed to provide opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to participate in research at a participating Navy laboratory.

This fellowship will allow Aidan to work in a Navy lab during summer 2024.

This award is a recognition of Hari’s work and aims to encourage him to pursue his hard work on Ni-base single crystal superalloys.
Thanks to this award, Hari has been able to attend TMS 2019 in San Antonio (TX), US.


Von Humboldt Fellowship

To Jean-Briac le Graverend from the Alexander von Humboldt Fundation

This fellowship is a highly prestigious one that promotes research collaborations between Germany and the rest of the world.

This fellowship has been awarded to le Graverend to work on damage and microstructures in high-temperatures alloys in the Ruhr Universität Bochum with Prof. G. Eggeler 3 months a year for 3 years.
He will be doing high-temperature experiments, nano-scale characterizations and multi-scale modeling. 


Air Force Young Investor Program

To Jean-Briac le Graverend from Air Force Office Scientific Research
Avril 2017

This program finances young faculties to encourage them in their research.

Le Graverend received a 3 year grant of $360k to study microstructure instabilities at high temperature in superalloys. Thanks to this grant, le Graverend has been able to finance Hari and Seungjun work.


French Ministry of Defense Scholarship

To Jean-Briac le Graverend from French Ministry of Defense
September 2009

This program finances Ph.D studies in different fields related to the French defense and offers special extra programs to the selected students in addition to their regular studies.

Le Graverend received a fellowship to finance his entire Ph.D.
